Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up, and PTO are asking for monetary donations to help purchase meals for teachers during their long conference days 🍽️💙. This is a wonderful way to show appreciation and support for all they do!

💵 Any amount is appreciated and will go directly toward providing meals for our staff.

We need volunteers to help work the Book Fair—including our final helpers on March 2, who will help take the fair down. 💪📖

Our Robert Frost families and students came together with big hearts to pack meal kits for the Roadrunner Sharing Shelf! 💙🍎🥖

It was inspiring to see so many hands working together to support our school community — from sorting food to assembling kits with care and compassion. 🤝✨

We’re also excited to share that we’re partnering with Terry Redlin Elementary to help launch a Sharing Shelf there! We packed extra meal kits that will be sent to Terry Redlin so their families can benefit from this program too. 🛍️🎒

A huge thank you to everyone who donated items, volunteered their time, and helped make today such a success. Together we are building a stronger, kinder community! 💪💛

We want to give a HUGE shout-out to Oscar in Room 511! 🎉 Back in December, Oscar won our school spelling bee. This month, he went on to compete at the State Spelling Bee, going head-to-head with students from all across the state in grades 3-8. And Oscar placed… wait for it, Roadrunners… 🥁 FIRST PLACE! 🏆 Oscar is our State Spelling Bee Champion! This week is National School Counseling week. RF/CC would not be the same without our amazing counselor, Miss Sonja Smith. We'd like to take this time to recognize and celebrate the incredible work she does each and every day for our students. Miss Smith goes above and beyond to meet the needs of students, staff and families at RFCC. Her impact in our school is felt daily. The MOVE dad program that Miss Smith started along with many amazing volunteers also has a huge impact on our school community. Thank you, Miss Smith for your dedication to RF/CC! Friendly Reminder: Donations are due today!

Our Roadrunner Sharing Shelf has inspired something special—Ready Shelf Meals! These shelf-stable meal kits have already made a big difference for families, and we’re ready to make more.

We’re hosting a food drive to help assemble additional Ready Shelf Meals for families who could use extra support. If you’re able, please consider donating a few items (check the SignUp Genius) or looking through your own pantry. All items can be found at Walmart or Dollar Tree.

2nd and 3rd grade challenge center classes have started our Brain Interim strong! 💪 Students have already learned what the three main parts of the brain are and their functions, the four lobes of the cerebrum, and how messages are sent to and from the brain. 🧠 We even get to do some fun games that focus in on the use of each specific part of our brains. Ask you learner what their favorite part has been so far!
